‘2.5 Transformation’, the new collection from Eight, i, 3 was conceived during the pandemic. The collection suggests that we take time to look back upon the paths we’ve taken, and to use those experiences to reform and transform ourselves to a higher level of being.

‘2.5 Transformation’ is a breakpoint for Eight, i, 3 before commencing an entirely new third collection. This collection’s main concept is based on the brand’s previous two collections, to which it adds an overarching motif: transformability. The enhancements deployed in ‘2.5 Transformation’ include adjustable lengths, hybrid pant-skirts, detachable sleeves and pockets, and high-volume embedded storage. No garment fits in any one box; every garment is multivalent.

As ever, these cyclist-friendly pieces are made of sustainable fabrics: recycled polyester, recycled nylon, Umorfil, and TENCEL™ lyocell, and cotton-blend denim.

Surficially, ‘2.5 Transformation’ stands for transformable garments, but on a more profound level, it also marks a point of departure for Eight, i, 3 and evolution for the designer herself.
